Slow Roast Pork Belly, Cooked in Warm Spiced Honey
About 200g of Pork Belly, slow cooked with organic honey, and mixed spices for 24hours.
Comes in its own pouch. A good single serving.
To serve: Warm in an oven at 100C until the jelly has melted.
Open the pouch and pour out the liquid into a small pan and reserve.
Put a frying pan on the stove, on very low heat, place pork belly skin side down on the pan and cook slowly till the skin has crisped. 10-15 min. turn up the heat and flip over, 5 more min, throw reserved liquid in the pan and quickly serve with cooking juices. Alternatively BBQ slowly skin side down.
